Neota Logic Helps KPMG Australia Build Immigration Expert System

Legal expert systems company, Neota Logic, has announced today that it has worked with KPMG Australia to help the Big Four firm launch a Business Visitor Assist Application for professionals coming to the country.

Neota explained that the KPMG Business Visitor Assist expert system is designed to assess and manage the obligations created by business visitors to Australia. Employees can record travel plans and receive instant pre-travel instructions regarding their visas and tax obligations.

I.e. it’s a Q&A system with benefits, that helps people to know what they have to do.

Is this a legal use case? Yes, as business immigration is clearly a legal practice area for many firms. Is it a big deal? Well, it certainly helps to reduce ‘friction’ in the system and is a great example of automating a workflow to speed up a volume process.
