AI review and analysis company, Eigen Technologies, has hired its first ever VP of Engineering following a major search. The new hire is Darren Clarke, who has worked at Dab Gaming, as well as VISA Europe, Flextech Television and Walt Disney, often in a CTO role.
The new role comes as the UK-based AI company moves into new offices at the heart of London’s business district in the City, at Queen Victoria Street. Previously they had been based in Covent Garden in the West End of London.
Both moves are part of the next phase in Eigen’s growth, the company said, following its £13m ($17.5m) Series A funding round in June 2018, co-led by Goldman Sachs PSI and Temasek.
Co-founder and CEO of Eigen, Dr. Lewis Liu, said: ‘Software engineering is at the heart of what Eigen does, so I am delighted to welcome Darren to the company.
