European Women of Legal Tech Launched by Hogan Lovells, ELTA + BRYTER

Global law firm Hogan Lovells, the European Legal Technology Association (ELTA), and no-code platform BRYTER, have launched the European Women of Legal Tech Awards 2020.

Nominations are already open and you can nominate yourself, or be nominated by others, across a wide range of categories, (see below).

The organisers said: ‘The awards encourage the legal industry to be viewed through a wide lens, and to understand how technology democratises and improves itself as a business and workplace.’

The initial awards were held in 2018 and covered mainly Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and were also backed by BRYTER. This time there will be a much broader focus covering all of Europe. And for those in the UK wondering if they can also be involved following Brexit, the answer is: yes, the UK is included.

BRYTER’s CEO, Michael Grupp, said of the awards: ‘Legal tech is emerging as a new category – we want to help to make it a diverse one.’

The awards help to tell the stories of women’s success in the legal tech field across several key areas:

  • Law Firms and Professional Services
  • In-house and Business
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Academia and Education
  • Public Services, Politics and Social
Timeline for the awards.
