Legal Innovators California Is On – See You June 9

Artificial Lawyer’s Legal Innovators California conference is on and will be taking place June 9 this summer in San Francisco. We are really looking forward to it and everyone’s invited.

The one-day conference will take the same approach as Legal Innovators in London, with a strong focus on all parts of the legal ecosystem and how they fit together, with speakers from top law firms such as Wilson Sonsini and Orrick; the inhouse world, such as from Google and Facebook; to a wide range of legal tech companies including Time By Ping and eBrevia; as well as law companies in the shape of Elevate, and many, many more.

The core idea that Artificial Lawyer has focused on in shaping this conference is that legal tech does not exist in isolation. So, Legal Innovators is all about the intersection of multiple factors that are shaping our sector: technology and innovation (naturally), but also new business models, new forms of legal production and delivery, and new professional roles.

And here are some of our speakers. There will be more speakers added in the weeks and months leading up to June 9.

Some of the speakers for the event on June 9 in San Francisco. More to come!

The event will be held in the heart of San Francisco at Bespoke Westfield, 845 Market St, and will run all day. It will be great to be holding a legal tech event in a part of the world so closely associated with driving innovation across multiple sectors.

Richard Tromans, Founder of Artificial Lawyer will be chairing, and as noted we have a fantastic group of speakers from across the industry. Cosmonauts will be organising and running the event on the day in California.

Now, you may ask: why California for a legal tech conference? The simple answer is that it’s a continually growing centre for legal tech and legal innovation in general. The number of legal tech companies with HQs or significant bases in California keeps rising and there’s plenty of really innovative work taking place among law firms, clients, and other legal services providers there. And of course, it’s home to some of the largest, epoch-shaping companies on the planet.

In terms of attendance, it will be the same as other Legal Innovators events. Ticket information can be found here.

There will be plenty more announcements in the months ahead, about speakers, sponsors, and other aspects of the event. But, for now, if you have any questions about the conference, then please contact Timo and team at Cosmonauts: timo@cosmonauts.biz

We look forward to seeing you all in San Francisco in June!
