Legal AI Co. Kira Breaks into India with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Deal

Legal AI pioneer, Kira Systems, has signed a deal with leading Indian law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas for its document analysis software system.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas will be India’s first law firm to deploy such a technology. The firm is based in Mumbai. It has six offices as well as 600 lawyers and 91 partners.

Although India is a well known centre for software companies, there has yet to be any other Indian law firm to publicly announce a collaboration with a legal AI company. In this regard the deal with Kira is a significant step, both in terms of widening still further the market for legal AI, as well as an important client win for the Canadian company.
