Artificial Lawyer would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a Fantastic Festive Season, and a Happy New Year!
And wow – what a year it has been. After Covid impacting the world, plus the ‘new new normal’ arriving, the big changes just keep on coming. 2022 has seen economic instability and global challenges, as well as the arrival of new AI technology whose full impact is still to be seen. Nevertheless, the legal innovation ecosystem is heading into 2023 with great momentum, along with plenty of inspiring developments and new entrants, all proving that it’s an incredibly vibrant and super-active field – all focused on making things better across the legal sector.
Also, amid some understandable trepidation, the legal tech market is on the long-term up-and-up, with more and more lawyers buying into what can be done with technology. Meanwhile the legal innovation ecosystem, which embraces much more than software, becomes richer and broader by the week. There is just so much talent and inspiration and creativity across this wonderful sector of ours, and it’s growing all the time. It’s a real privilege to be part of the evolutionary change that is unfolding before all of our eyes – and importantly that you’re making happen! Thank you for all you do.
Wishing you all a restorative and happy holidays and a successful 2023!
I also look forward to seeing you at the Legal Innovators conferences in San Francisco in June and London in November next year. There will be lots to explore and talk about, that is for sure!
