UniCourt has launched an AI-driven litigation data platform called ‘DEEP’ which stands for: Docket Extraction and Enrichment Platform.
This solution empowers law firms, insurers, and legal tech partners to leverage a structured database of litigation data, attorneys, law firms, parties, and judges in the United States. The data base covers 40 states and over 3,000 State and Federal courts and comprises over one billion dockets and documents. UniCourt DEEP also enables firms to create customized docket and document views and extract insights.

Consilio has launched Lio, a specialized internal chatbot. Lio is designed to strengthen information security operations by reducing the time for professionals to safely access data repositories. The chatbot references predefined incident response playbooks for common security events (i.e. social engineering, phishing, and ransomware attacks), assists in triage and escalation, and helps communicate with internal users on policy enforcement and compliance.

Aderant has launched viAllocate, a solution that helps law firms maximize billable utilization.

Everlaw, the cloud-native investigation and litigation platform, has announced the general availability of its GenAI-powered EverlawAI Assistant.
The Assistant can help ‘legal teams find the right documents faster, gain quality insights and craft compelling legal arguments for a leg-up in disputes’ they said.
It helps with searching within the ‘four-corners of the document’ to minimize hallucinations and making results verifiable with cited source documents; and labelling GenAI content vs human-generated content in written materials, as some court orders now request and future regulation may require.

UK-based CLM company Summize today announced its performance figures for its latest fiscal year, ending June 30, 2024. For the fourth consecutive year, the company achieved more than 100% growth in net Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and doubled its customer base worldwide.
It is also expanding its US base with a new 2,500 square foot office in Boston’s Seaport District.

Mary O’Carroll Leaves Ironclad
Global law firm Goodwin has announced that Mary O’Carroll has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer, resident in the Silicon Valley office. As Chief Operating Officer she will oversee Goodwin’s global operations team of more than 1,000 business professionals globally.
Previously she was at CLM Ironclad, and has also played a key role in developing the legal ops community globally.
She will be responsible for developing and executing on transformational objectives and operational strategies, controls, and procedures aligned with the firm’s overall direction and goals.
