Elevate has today announced the acquisition of Redgrave Data. It follows the May acquisition of the CJK Group.
Founders Mollie Nichols, Scott Culbertson, Dave Lewis, Mark Noel, and Lindsey Worth will all join the Elevate management team.
Redgrave Data is a legal data and AI consulting and technology services company that provides innovative and defensible technology strategies, insights, services, and solutions to customers who face challenges with electronically stored information in a legal context.
Redgrave Data’s award-winning leadership team has extensive experience in applying technology-assisted review (TAR), artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, analytics, robotic process automation (RPA), and data visualization in the most challenging matters. Redgrave Data solves discovery and legal technology problems that other industry players cannot by thoroughly evaluating and combining the best commercial offerings with custom development and process engineering, integrating technology and expertise in a defensible manner to address eDiscovery, Information Governance, and other use cases, they said.
Meanwhile, Elevate is a provider of eDiscovery and Document Review solutions. This acquisition follows the May announcement that Elevate acquired The CJK Group to provide multi-language support in reviewing, categorising, and analysing multi-lingual content in litigation, investigations, and transaction-based due diligence across Asia and North America, as well as other strategic partnerships in the Discovery space.
Liam Brown, Elevate’s Chairman and CEO, said: ‘We founded Elevate to integrate expertise and technology to innovate and transform work with a legal and business dimension that needs to be done every day, often at scale, and sometimes urgently. We recognised how Redgrave Data ‘run a different race’ to tackle the world’s thorniest legal data and technology issues strategically, efficiently, and effectively. We are excited to bring their exceptional consultative solutions to Elevate’s law department and law firm customers to solve the litigation, investigations, and regulatory compliance problems that they face.’
Mollie Nichols, CEO of Redgrave Data, commented: ‘Joining our strengths to those of another Chambers Band 1 NewLaw company is going to expand our ability to provide outstanding services to our clients. Teaming up with Elevate will provide a global platform to support our international clients more effectively. Elevate’s resources will also allow us to accelerate the development of our innovation projects more efficiently and at scale. Overall, this is a great fit, and I’m looking forward to the road ahead!’
