Infodash Partners with BigHand for Better Business Intelligence

Infodash, a provider of legal intranet and extranet solutions for law firms, has partnered with BigHand to broaden their Business Intelligence solution.

In terms of the integration, customers will have an ‘out-of-the-box ability to display dynamic financial metrics on an intranet page’. Those pages can display charts and user-specific metrics, complemented by ‘people data, case details, and documents, among other information, to create unprecedented insights for users’.

A native API integration ensures that Infodash calls to the BigHand Business Intelligence ‘data cube’ are real-time, giving the latest and most accurate information is displayed to the user.

As the companies explained: ‘Law firms will now be able to view their quantitative financial metrics side-by-side with unstructured data such as documents from the DMS, contacts from CRM, client and matter details from the practice management system.’

In turn that should allow lawyers to better ‘align their efforts around optimizing’ for key performance indicators, they added.

Or to put it another way, they’ll know which clients, and which work matters, or aspects of a matter, have generated what income – as well as who did what – all in one view. With that knowledge they can make better management decisions about the future business strategy of the law firm.

Ted Theodoropoulos, CEO of Infodash, commented: ‘Together, we will deliver personalized and actionable performance data to every law firm employee, enabling firms to focus operational efforts on improving productivity across the entire firm.’

Briana McCrory, CMO of BigHand, added: ‘BigHand has always been focused on ensuring our clients get the most value from their investment with us – both directly from our software but also through our alignment with other legal tech vendors. We recognize that clients have multiple technology partners, and by us creating strong partnerships with other industry leaders, we ensure that our mutual clients have a seamless experience.’

While Rod Wittenberg, VP of Sales for Financial Productivity at BigHand, concluded: ‘We’ve known Ted and the Infodash team for a long time and can see the value their solution is bringing to the legal sector. When we spoke to some of our clients about the potential partnership, they were quite excited, and we already have clients in the rollout phase.’
