Last week this site revealed the launch of GOLT, a major new global legal tech directory – and plenty of people wanted to see what it offers. So, now, here is the AL TV Walk Through, which shows in detail what it can do.
Its goal is to really show a very broad legal tech world, i.e. beyond the US and UK, with vendors listed from Brazil, India, Germany, Singapore, Australia and China, with other jurisdictions to follow. (It’s also free for vendors to get listed – although viewers are charged a fee.)
To watch the demo, presented with founder Tom Pfennig, please press Play, there is then some Q&A with Artificial Lawyer. You can modify playback, e.g. HD, with the YouTube controls.
The directory is still growing, but the aim is to provide something that can help with:
‘- Facilitating the legal tech procurement process by accelerating the selection process.
– Enabling organizations to make informed legal tech purchasing decisions.
– Offering product comparisons and software validation.
– Hosting a vast number of legal technology solutions from various geographical regions.
– Providing free-of-charge vendor listing and legal tech product data maintenance.’
Overall, the aspect that this site really likes is its global nature. If legal tech is going to be all it can be, then it needs to have an impact in every market. In which case, if this directory can help to illuminate what’s going on around the world, then all the better.
