Now here is a deal that makes a lot of sense: Consilio is partnering with LegalMation, which has pioneered automated / AI-driven responses for dispute needs, e.g. producing initial documents to respond to EEOC claims incoming to legal teams at large companies.
LegalMation’s capabilities will enhance Consilio’s offering in areas such as ‘Insurance Claim Responses, Breach of Warranty obligations, responding in a timely fashion to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and numerous other use cases’, they said.
In short, this is about leveraging the automation (via AI or otherwise) of LegalMation to help the inhouse clients of Consilio to handle ‘process level work’.

Peter Ostrega, Global Managing Director at Consilio, commented: ‘Our partnership with LegalMation will enable us to more easily identify a law department’s workflow, drive automation and a documented process around it, staff the workflow and ultimately hand it back to the client in a more efficient and effective state.’
James Lee, Chief Executive Officer at LegalMation, added: ‘Consilio’s expertise in providing end-to-end support of global strategic change initiatives at the most recognizable enterprises combined with LegalMation’s purpose-built platform of AI-workflow solutions will materially benefit clients who do not want to fall behind.
‘As the use of AI is already evidenced by the rising volume of claims and lawsuits, LegalMation’s defense focused platform is the solution for corporate legal and claims departments. We have already identified several key clients and workflows where we will be driving a dramatic upswing in efficiency and consistency.’
As noted, this makes a lot of sense, and if Consilio’s reach into corporate legal can help spread LegalMation’s tech more widely, especially on the volume end of disputes and process work, then all the better.
