Anaqua Buys RightHub ‘AI Native Platform’ In IP Expansion

Anaqua, a major IP management provider, has acquired ‘AI-native platform’ RightHub, which also strengthens its footprint in the UK, Sweden, and Denmark.

It’s another development in the IP world, which has been shaken up by genAI – given its strong language understanding and multi-modal capabilities, with multiple new startups in this space launching in the last two years and many patent lawyers now rethinking how they approach their practice.

As noted, the move brings in RightHub’s AI-native platform, which has been designed to meet the needs of mid-size law firms and corporations. It will remain a distinct brand ‘complementing Anaqua’s existing IP management software platforms, AQX and PATTSY WAVE’, they said.

RightHub’s AI backed capabilities include:

‘AI analyst – Helping you with handling all types of questions related to a document.
Communication reporting – For summarising and reporting any type of communication to your client – including retrieving of cited prior art.
Invention disclosure – For drafting of invention disclosures and quick novelty searches related to it including prior art retrieval.
Assisted drafting – For drafting introductory parts of patent applications in minutes.’
