And here’s a quick news item about Harvey’s ongoing market share battle to become the productivity platform of choice in its competition with Legora and others. Willkie, a top US firm with over 1,200 lawyers and around $1.8 billion revenue, and also Duane Morris with revenues of about $700m and 900 lawyers, have both gone public with their choice of Harvey.
Harvey will also be integrated directly into Willkie’s proprietary AI platform, Wendell Intelligence, ‘creating a tailored, connected ecosystem that aligns advanced generative capabilities with the firm’s internal knowledge systems and workflows’, they said.
John Elbasan, Willkie’s Chief Information Officer, commented: ‘Innovation in law cannot be abstract. It must answer the moment. Harvey’s global deployment ensures our lawyers and business professional staff have access to advanced generative capabilities wherever they practice.
‘Its integration into Wendell Intelligence is something more deliberate – a way to align that capability with how we think, how we decide, and how we deliver the best service to our clients. It reflects the discipline to apply innovation with purpose and the responsibility to ensure it delivers where it matters.’
Willkie will also serve as an Innovation Partner to Harvey, testing early Harvey betas and exploring agentic integrations and other interoperability solutions between Harvey and Wendell Intelligence, they added.
And in terms of Duane Morris, Michael Bruckner, the firm’s Chief Information Officer, commented: ‘Duane Morris has a long-standing reputation for embracing innovation to better serve our clients. Working with Harvey reflects our commitment to providing our attorneys with the best tools available, enabling them to deliver outstanding results efficiently and effectively across our global teams and customer base.’
Harvey CEO, Winston Weinberg, concluded: ‘Duane Morris and their team did an incredible job of understanding what the firm needed not just in terms of technology but also as it relates to support and use cases. We are honoured they chose Harvey and look forward to supporting the great work being done by their AI leadership as they continue to deliver innovative solutions for their clients.’
