Norm Law, an AI-native law firm – and the sister business of agent-focused Norm AI – has hired Mike Schmidtberger as Chairman, Partner, and Head of the firm’s Investment Funds and Regulatory practice.

Schmidtberger joins from Sidley Austin, the sixth-largest law firm in the world by revenue, where he spent the past 35 years, and previously was co-head of the investment funds practice and Managing Partner of the New York office.

And, Lighthouse, an eDiscovery and information governance business, has launched LighthouseIQ, a ‘next-generation’ intelligence platform and AI application suite. Developed to eliminate the constraints of data scale, LighthouseIQ provides legal and compliance teams with earlier insights, regulatory defensibility, and significant cost savings, they said.
