Stella + Sirion Partner For CLM Needs

Stella Legal, a contract operations transformation group, is to partner with AI-driven CLM business Sirion, which recently saw Haveli Investments take majority ownership. Some years ago Sirion bought contract AI company Eigen.

Under the deal, Stella will work with Sirion to ‘operationalize contracting transformation through customized optimization and AI-enablement services’. I.e. they’re going to help corporates to get their contracts running through Sirion.

It will also use ‘flexible delivery models with ongoing support to accelerate adoption,’ among clients, which includes them working with Sirion’s proprietary AI foundation agentOSTM, which combines specialized contract intelligence with a conversational interface, they said.

I.e. it’s the type of deal we have seen before with the Big Four and other CLM players, as well as with other types of consultancy group. In short, it’s that complex human bit in the middle between the software and the customer’s contracts.

But, it’s nonetheless important, given the fierce competition in this space – plus the fact that Sirion has a new majority owner who will want to see some rapid growth in return for its large investment.
