Hotshot, the learning platform for lawyers, and Legora, have partnered together to help law firms adopt AI through practical training. The move comes as peer legal AI companies are also rolling out educational programs to drive adoption and engagement.
As part of the collaboration, Hotshot will develop training resources with Legora, ‘focused on helping lawyers understand and use Legora in the context of their day-to-day legal work’.
The companies said: ‘The collaboration reflects a shared belief that meaningful AI adoption starts with great training – training that helps lawyers understand what AI can do, how it fits into their workflows, and how to use it responsibly in real matters.’
The work builds on the training and resources Legora already provides to its customers, as well as Hotshot’s established foundation of AI training for lawyers, they added.
The Legora/Hotshot program will include a new series of ‘high-level, use-case-driven’ videos that demonstrate Legora’s capabilities; and Hotshot will also develop experiential, instructor-led workshops that let lawyers practice using Legora on simulated matters before applying the technology to live client work.
The first wave of training content will arrive in the coming months.

Is this a big deal?
In recent months, Harvey, August, and Wordsmith, to name a few, have all rolled out training and educational programs of different types. But all have the same end goal: to drive uptake of their platforms. Legora teaming up with a very experienced legal training company such as Hotshot therefore makes a lot of sense.
