Artificial Lawyer is proud to announce the launch of a new and improved AL Jobs section that provides full-length ads and detailed search capabilities; as well as the formation of a ground-breaking partnership with marketing experts and legal event organisers, Cosmonauts.
As part of the launch the team at London-based Cosmonauts, headed by the well-known creator of the Future Lawyers Summit, Timo Karakashev, will be working with you all to help you to place your ads and find the right people to fill lawyer, innovation and customer success roles, to name just a few categories the new AL Jobs page will provide.
Jobs already on show in the new section today include: an excellent role at US law firm Orrick for a Practice Innovation lawyer, based in either America or the UK; business development roles at legal research company Justis and legal workflow pioneer Legatics, as well as of course roles at legal AI pioneers, such as a senior lawyer role at ThoughtRiver. (Note: The AL Jobs section can be found via the main menu bar.)
Over the coming weeks Cosmonauts will be making contact and seeing how they may help you to find the talent you need for your law firm or your legal tech company to meet its goals.
As before, job ads for not-for-profits and access to justice charities will remain free. All other new roles will be offered at a competitive rate – please drop me a line if you’d like to know more.
Legal Tech Courses Directory
You may have noticed the soft launch of a Legal Tech Courses section, also located in the main menu bar, which shows post-graduate courses that cover legal technology, such as at LLM level, as well as some of the undergraduate courses that contain a legal tech module. Courses listed so far are from the US, UK, Finland, Spain and more.
Now that everyone is back to school Artificial Lawyer will be contacting you about the courses your university or law school offers that relate to legal tech. Or, if you can’t wait, please drop me a line and we can get you set up in the directory.
AL 100 Directory
And, last, but not least, as you’ve probably seen, Artificial Lawyer has launched the AL 100 directory of the best and most progressive legal tech companies out there.
Right now there are 75 companies listed, offering you everything from smart contracts to legal research, to workflow automation, to what is now around 25 different AI-driven doc review systems to consider and choose from.
Two things are planned here, over the next few months the aim will be to get to the magic 100 number, at which point the AL 100 will pause for a moment and get your feedback.
The other is that as of today companies will also be able to have Enhanced Profiles in the AL 100 with the ability to share a range of additional content and to further promote your offering. Let me know if this is of interest.
There’s a few other announcements to make in the near future, but I’ll leave it at that for now.

One last thing: on Tuesday and Wednesday (18 + 19 Sept) of this week I’ll be chairing the Legal AI Forum event at the Kensington Hilton, London. We’ve got some great speakers, such as Managing Director and Head of Development at DWF Ventures, Jonathan Patterson; Christina Blacklaws, President,
The Law Society of England & Wales; Karyn Harty, Partner, McCann Fitzgerald; Adam Hembury, Director of Innovation, DLA Piper; and naturally great legal AI companies such as Legal Sifter and Luminance as well.

All the best and if you have any questions about the announcements above, please feel free to get in contact.
