Autologyx, the workflow automation and process orchestration pioneer, has launched a range of genAI capabilities as part of its wider ‘Applied AI’ strategy to support legal tasks, including for agentic programs, such as triage for email intake, (see image below).
Autologyx now offers a model-agnostic approach to integrating AI into processes, with out of the box connectors to ChatGPT alongside access to other models such as Llama and Claude through an integration with Amazon Bedrock.
The UK-based company said: ‘Whether your model is public, or private and in your own tenant, Autologyx empowers organisations to harness the power of AI for smarter, faster, and more adaptive automation.’
Their new Analytics and Reporting engine also offers real-time insights, allowing legal teams to track case progress, optimise workflows, and ensure compliance – all in one seamless interface, they said.
Ben Wightwick, Chief Commercial Officer, commented: ‘Our Applied AI strategy provides tools that make advanced automation intuitive, actionable, and results driven.’
Wightwick told Artificial Lawyer that this was now a new version of the platform, which remains aimed at law firms and inhouse teams. Clients include Konexo (of Eversheds Sutherland) and Adecco.
‘This is not a point solution, it’s providing a deep level of data management and the managing of transaction processes. Examples include repapering and remediation [of contracts],’ he said.
He stressed that the company’s focus is to partner with other tech companies and help to bring AI into workflows, then help to track or trigger actions – and importantly to connect data flows – within a wider system.
All of this covers a range of needs, from building ‘RAG pipelines, to vector databases, to designing fields, to connecting email intake, to connecting to LLMs, to helping to standardise prompts,’ and more.
In fact, the multi-capability nature of Autologyx is in some ways one of its hurdles in what is a very busy marketplace for legal tech. I.e. they’re not providing the specific AI tools themselves, but providing everything that connects them with data and workflows. In short, they are in many ways a ‘legal AI company’ now, but their value is in making the LLMs deliver what’s needed, because an API to OpenAI on its own is often not enough to get the quality workflows you need for complex legal projects.

Ben Stoneham, Chief Technology Officer at Autologyx, concluded: ‘Successfully deploying AI solutions requires more than just advanced algorithms; it demands a solid technical foundation that ensures seamless integration, execution, governance, and control. Our platform provides this critical foundation, enabling businesses to execute their AI strategies with confidence and precision.’
