‘The End of Word?’ Join Us On Thursday to Discuss @ Legal Tech Groucho Club

It’s official, the Legal Tech Groucho Club is now formally enrolled on Clubhouse and will take place every Thursday at the same time, same place every week: 4PM GMT, 8AM PST, 11AM EST. And tomorrow we have two great special guests: Richard Mabey, CEO of Juro, and Jeremy Coleman, Head of Innovation (EMEA) at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Tomorrow’s event is located here – and we’ll be there with our great team of regular cohosts as well (see below). Just jump onto the platform on Thursday and navigate from there. You can also join the Legal Tech Groucho Club now as a permanent member (p.s. you may need an existing member to invite you), or just follow the club to keep up to date with the weekly events. Whether a member or not, all events are open to all.

As for the key topics tomorrow, we’ll be exploring several questions, one of which will be: Is this the end of Word, or is Word only really just getting started in the legal world? Some lawyers, and plenty of legal tech companies, want to see the end of Word docs and email, but it seems to be surviving well despite this. We explore where it’s all headed.

We’ll also look at what really is ‘Legal Process Work’? Why is that even a thing? How do law firms approach this? And how much legal work is ‘process’?

As mentioned, several of our core team of great cohosts will be there once again, with this week:

  • Roisin Noonan – Chief Operating Officer, The Law Boutique,
  • Dorna Moini – CEO and co-founder, Documate,
  • Patrick Fuller – VP Legal Intelligence, American Lawyer Media,
  • Ryan McClead – CEO, Sente Advisors,
  • Tom Martin – CEO, LawDroid, and Co-Founder of the American Legal Tech Awards
  • Olga Mack – CEO, Parley Pro,
  • Rick Merrill – CEO and founder, Gavelytics.
  • (and Artificial Lawyer founder, Richard Tromans, will moderate, as usual).

The format is still evolving, but we’re slowly getting the hang of things now. Please join us and take part in the discussion at key points during the event.

And, as mentioned, the Legal Tech Groucho Club will now be a regular fixture, same time, same place, every Thursday at 4PM GMT, 8AM PST, 11AM EST.

P.S. there’s been a lot of interest in coming on as a cohost or special guest. If you’d like to be a special guest on future editions of the show, then please drop Artificial Lawyer a line.

And of course, there will be plenty of opportunities each week for attendees to ask questions and share their views as well.

Hope to see you all there!

    • Hi Mariano, according to CH’s own FAQs section they are currently only operating on iOS devices, so, for now, that’s the only option. Hopefully, like other aspects of the platform, they will eventually widen this.
